Garrett Hedstrom - Controller
Garrett Hedstrom is the Controller at Arroyo Capital, where he oversees the firm's financing and accounting strategies. He brings more than a decade of experience in accounting and financial reporting for high-revenue, high-net-worth clients. In this role, he partners closely with other members of the management team on financial performance, investment risk monitoring, and technology initiatives, while coordinating across multidisciplinary teams and helping shape the firm's finance strategy.
Prior to joining Arroyo, Garrett spent nearly ten years at Holthouse Carlin & Van Trigt LLP (HCVT), where he rose to the position of Supervising Senior Auditor. In that capacity, he led audit engagements for clients in the real estate and software sectors, trained audit teams, and regularly presented financial findings to senior partners. He also developed and led a firmwide debt modification training program for the firm's audit group, demonstrating technical expertise and leadership.
Garrett holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Business in Accounting from the University of Colorado Boulder. A technology enthusiast, he actively leverages that interest to present opportunities to integrate innovative tools into Arroyo's financial and investment processes, with a focus on improving efficiency, insight, and scalability. Outside of work, Garrett enjoys spending time with his wife, daughter, and dog, and values maintaining a healthy balance beyond the office.
